I am a qualified Yoga Teacher, Hatha Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation, qualified in 2012. I studied Integral Yoga under the guidance of Stephan Trefzer Integral Yoga Swindon, Rowan Cobelli and Sumukhi Webb.
Integral Yoga is based on the teachings of Swami Satchidananda, who was one of the first Indian teachers to bring yoga to the west in the 1960s.  This style seeks to integrate body, mind and spirit and the classes are generally for beginners, intermediate and advanced level.  In addition, this style of Yoga teaches the mind to stay focused in the present. Focusing keeps you from drifting off and helps you to be present in your body rather than ‘stuck in your head’.
Practicing this Integral style of Yoga will strengthen your body, increase flexibility, and bring overall balance and better health to the body. Emotionally, it steadies the mind through focus on the breath. You will feel focused and calm. On a spiritual level, this practice is a moving meditation. Yoga opens you up to this moment, which is all there is and which is the doorway to experience truth and real happiness.
